Sunfire Matrix for Medicare: Agent Login Guide to Begin Enrollments

By  Drew Gurley  on October 29, 2025

If you’re new to the Medicare sales industry or just new to Sunfire, this article should provide you some help.

In my opinion, the Sunfire Medicare platform is the leading tool for agents to quote, compare, and submit both Medicare Advantage and PDP enrollments in real time.

Whether you are new to Sunfire or simply need help logging in, this guide will walk you through every step, from setup to troubleshooting, so you can focus on helping your beneficiaries find the right coverage under the federal Medicare program.

Step 1: Confirm Your Access and Credentials to Begin Enrollments

Before you log in, make sure your access is active and your credentials are ready:

  1. Verify that you are contracted and “ready to sell” with your FMO or brokerage for the carriers you plan to represent. Your Sunfire Matrix access depends on your carrier appointments and eligibility status.
  2. Your FMO will provide your login credentials and link to the platform. Most agents use their email address as their username and may receive a temporary password.
  3. Confirm your National Producer Number (NPN) is linked correctly so your production reports flow into your CRM (if you have this function setup from your FMO). If you don’t know know, you can search your NPN here.
  4. Open Google Chrome or another compatible browser for the best user experience.
  5. Keep your FMO’s support team phone number handy in case you run into login issues. SMA has a dedicated Sunfire support team that is available 7 days a week during AEP.

If you have not yet received your credentials, contact your agency or FMO for assistance before attempting to log in. If you’re already contracted with SMA, contact your account manager.

Step 2: Go to the Sunfire Login Page

Once your account is active, open your browser and visit your agency’s Sunfire login page.

  1. Go to your FMO’s Sunfire URL (for example, www.sunfirematrix.com/app/agent/seniormarketadvisors).
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click Login to access your Sunfire dashboard.
  4. If you forget your password, use the “Forgot Password” option to reset it instantly.

Sunfire’s login process was designed to streamline access for agents, allowing quick transitions between quoting and enrollment workflows.

Step 3: First-Time Login and Setup

If this is your first time using Sunfire, you may be prompted to complete a few setup tasks:

  • Create a new password.
  • Verify your profile details, including your name, email, NPN, and agency information.
  • Accept any compliance agreements, such as the SOA (Scope of Appointment).

Once you complete these steps, your dashboard will open. Take time to explore key tabs like Quoting, Enrollment, Reporting, and CRM Integration.

SMA Pro Tip: Attend a short webinar hosted by your FMO to learn best practices and shortcuts for the Sunfire workflow. Our Senior Account Manager, Jeremy Tingler has a great set of support tools and training for Sunfire that he can send you.

Step 4: How to Quote and Complete a Medicare Enrollment

After logging in, you can begin assisting clients with Medicare plan comparisons and enrollment.

  1. Select Quote or Quote and Enroll from your main dashboard.
  2. Enter the beneficiary’s details such as eligibility, age, and ZIP code.
  3. Review plan options from the matching Medicare Advantage and PDP carriers that show up in the target zip code.
  4. Compare costs, benefits, and providers to ensure your client’s doctors and prescriptions are covered.
  5. Once the client chooses a plan, follow the guided workflow to complete the plan enrollment and collect their e-signature.

Sunfire offers real time quoting, digital signatures, and daily automatic submission to carriers, which helps you streamline your sales process and minimize errors.

SMA Pro Tip: request your Sunfire submission data so you can reconcile the sales logged in your own CRM.

Helpful Login and Usage Tips

  • Bookmark your agency’s Sunfire Medicare login link for quick access.
  • If you receive a “username does not exist” or “invalid password” error, double-check your spelling and confirm your eligibility and activation with your FMO.
  • Clear your browser cache or use a private browsing window if you experience technical issues.
  • If certain providers or carriers are missing, contact your FMO or support team to confirm your access.
  • Sync your account with your CRM so all quotes and enrollments appear in your reporting dashboard.
  • Always secure your login information and update your password regularly.
