Tanner Herring is an Account Manager at SMA, where he helps insurance agencies scale confidently and sustainably. Tanner works closely with agency owners and their teams to deliver training, resources, and proven sales strategies that make growth repeatable.
Known as a “Cultivator of Relationships,” Tanner believes the strongest agencies are built on trust which is earned through genuine, face-to-face connections rather than just messages and meetings. Whether it’s sharing a coffee, visiting an agency in person, or hitting the golf course, he’s passionate about building partnerships that truly matter.
Raised in Middle Tennessee, Tanner has always embraced challenges from skydiving and cliff jumping to snorkeling and exploring new destinations. A former multi-sport athlete and competitive golfer, he brings the same discipline and drive to his work. His biggest fear? Getting complacent.
