How To Drive Traffic To Your Agent Website
In this digital age, one of the best ways to generate and nurture leads is through your own website. Your clients want to know that you are available and easy to reach! A website with all of your contact information and useful Medicare information can make a difference in a client’s decision to choose you over another agent. These are some of the things you should include on your website and ways to help drive traffic:
Blog
A consistently updated blog about Medicare rules, regulations, and products is a great way to both keep your clients informed and increase their trust in you. Make sure everything you write is CMS compliant (no public plan details, no revealing client information, etc.). The blog should be an easily accessible tab on your website.
Youtube Videos
If you’re not a great writer, or if you want to do something different, consider starting a Youtube channel! Upload videos of yourself talking about what Medicare Part A is, or the differences between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplements. Turn yourself into a video educator. Beneficiaries will love being able to watch a quick two-minute video to learn about Medicare and will be more inclined to go to your website and eventually buy from you.
Social Media
Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are incredibly important for driving clients to your website. These days, it’s harder to find someone who doesn’t have a Facebook account than someone who does (yes, seniors included). You should definitely have a Facebook page that connects to your website. Share your blog posts and any interesting Medicare articles you find on your Facebook page. Gain page likes by running ad campaigns, then drive people on your Facebook page to go to your website, where they can fill in their contact information (if they choose to) and even give you permission to contact them.
Google Ads
Google Adwords is a great way for you to advertise your website outside of social media. You can place ads for your website on other websites or at the top of people’s search results. You want your website to show up when a senior or Medicare eligible person types in “Medicare agent in [Your City].”
Google Adwords can be a little tricky to navigate at first, but Google has a training and certification program that will help you work through it!
