Teach A Man To Fish

Working as a health insurance agent means that you are your own business. FMOs, or field marketing organizations (like us) exist to help you do your job successfully. Here at Senior Market Advisors, we follow the “teach a man to fish” policy.

Our mission is to serve the underserved. That applies to both clients and agents. We want our agents to reach clients who may not even have a clue as to what Medicare is, and may not know that they are eligible. We want to ensure that every eligible person is receiving the coverage they need to get the health care that they need.

On the other hand, we want to ensure that each agent has every bit of support they need. Selling individual health insurance plans requires a lot of work and attention to detail. This is especially true for Medicare, which has additional complicated regulations.

It’s easy to lose track of the legalities behind each sale without an FMO standing behind you.

As your FMO, we will handle all of your commissions and give you a percentage. For your first year of selling as a Senior Market Advisors agent, we will take our percentage of your sales and use it to provide you with great marketing materials and leads. In your first year, we won’t be making a profit from your sales. It all goes back to you.

Selling Is Like Fishing

The more hooks you throw in, the more fish you’ll catch – and we’ll provide the bait.

If you go out on the water for a leisurely afternoon with one type of bait and one location in mind, chances are you’ll only catch a few fish. If you go out there with a well-researched list of what works, you’ll catch several fish that day. Sales works the same way, and we’re here to help you pick your bait and know where to drop your line.

We’ll Teach You How To Fish

Signing on with us means that we will give you the tools and training you need to generate your own leads. We’ll also provide you with sales and communication tips so that each of your appointments can run as smoothly as possible.

While it is important to us that everyone is compensated fairly, that’s not all we care about. Our management team and our technological tools will make the tedious and organizational parts of your job easy. You can put that aside and focus on taking care of clients. Too many people are living without a proper coverage plan for their health care needs. We hope to change that.
